28. Italy’s Espresso Price Increase

First the first time in over two decades, Italy increases its price on espresso. During today's episode I go over how Italian coffee shops have been able to keep their prices so low for so long and why the birthplace of espresso is now facing this crucial decision. For almost a decade Italian culture has set the standard for espresso shops all over the world, but have they fallen behind? Maybe now is the time coffee shops in Italy will start accepting this "third wave" of coffee.
